Glunic Desensitizer

DESCRIPTION:

Glunic is a fast and effective way of sealing dentinal tubules. The material provides fast relief from pain caused by hypersensitivity and is formulated with Glutaraldehyde to inhibit bacterial growth. Glunic doesn’t have significant effect on bonding strength.

COMPOSITION:

Glutaraldehyde, HEMA, Fixative.

INDICATIONS:

Below all direct & indirect restorations: below crowns & bridges, inlays & onlays, veneers & temporaries, margins around temporary crowns to reduce the patient’s pain.

Instructions FOR USE:

1. Clean the dentine with prophylaxis paste or pumice, under local anaesthesia if necessary, and then rinse off with water.
2. Protect mucous membranes by using a rubber dam. Make sure that Glunic only comes into contact with the area to be treated.
3. Apply the smallest possible amount of Glunic required for treatment to the dentinal surface using pellets or brushes and then leave for 30-60 seconds.
4. Then dry the surface carefully by applying a stream of compressed air until the fluid film has disappeared and the surface is no longer shiny. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
5. If a single application does not produce sufficient & sustained pain relief, part 2 can be repeated at the same or a subsequent appointment.

STORAGE:

Keep in original packaging below 25 °C out of reach of children.
