Description:

Nik Darman Formo-Cresol solution is used for Endodontics pulpotomy treatment, disinfection of caries or necrotic root canals. Formalin is an antiseptic and fixative agent, eliminates all the stiff tissue and cause easier canal extraction. Cresol as an efficient disinfectant decrease formalin irritation.

Composition:

Tri-Cresol, Formalin, Humectant

Instructions for use:

Primary Teeth Pulpotomy: Anesthetize the tooth and isolate with a rubber-dam, open the coronal pulp with a bur or excavator. Put Formo-Cresol impregnated cotton on root cavity for 5 minutes, then dress the tooth.

Canal Disinfection at Permanent Teeth: Isolate the tooth with rubber-dam, impregnate a piece of cotton to Formo-Cresol and press to extra liquid come out. Put the cotton on the pulp then locate on a dry piece of cotton. Fill the cavity with Zinc Oxide or dress it. After 48 hours extract the cottons and complete root canal therapy.

Storage:

Store at room temperature (15-25 ºC), keep away from direct sunlight & reach of children.

Precaution:

►Prevent to direct contact with skin and mucus, if contact could severe irritationuUse eye shield and gloves.
►Avoid use for whom have allergy to any of composition.
►While contact, irrigate with abundant water.
►If in contact to eyes irrigate with water and seek the medication.
►Avoid injection and swallow.
