Temponic Cement Reinforced

Temponic CEMENT:

Temporary Temponic CEMENT is a product made from zinc oxide and eugenol, with improved formula, high setting and convenient usage, is designed for dentists. Temponic is to be used for temporary cementation, lining of posterior and anterior teeth and with sedative impact under amalgam and silicate restorations. (Note: this product shouldn’t be used under acrylic and composite-based restorations). This product has antibacterial effect and protects the teeth root against thermal shocks and inflammations caused by fresh mix of cements. Cavities covered using Temponic may readily undergo filling job.

Components:

Zinc oxide powder, eugenol USP grade.

Usage Instruction:

Sufficient amount of the powder should be put over a glass slab, the powder should be divided into three equal portions and each part needs to be mixed thoroughly with eugenol solution until obtaining an evenly mixed paste.

Mixing time: 30 seconds

Time to work with paste: 2 minutes

Time to be hardened: 6-8 minutes

Warning:

If a patient is allergic to any ingredient included in this product, stop applying this product. This product must not be left in the mouth. When using this product, the following items are recommended; 1- mouth-teeth separator rubber 2- gloves, eye glasses 3- protective clothes. Skin contact with this product may lead to irritation, burning and corrosion. If contacted with skin, clean it quickly with gauze and wash it with soap and water. Upon observing sensitivity, irritation and allergic reaction, stop using the product and wash it out with water. If swallowed, do not make the patient vomit, but have him/her drink lots of water visit a physician.

Storage conditions:

Keep the product in its original packaging in room temperature (under 25 C). Protect this product from direct light and humid. Keep out of the reach of children.

INTRODUCTION:
Temponic CEMENT is a Zinc Oxide Eugenol temporary
cement with an improved fast setting formulation designed specifically to facilitate the application for the dentist. The product is recommended for temporary cementation, cavities lining in posterior & anterior teeth & as a sedative base under metallic restorations. It also protects pulp from thermal shock & possible irritation from freshly mixed cements. Cavities lined with Temponic CEMENT may be filled promptly. This product should not be used under acrylic filling materials.

COMPOSITION:
Zinc Oxide Powder & Eugenol

INSTRUCTIONS For USE:
1. Before dispensing: fluff powder to assure uniform bulk density of contents.

2. Fill measuring scoop to excess without packing, then level the scoop with a spatula.
3. Place powder on mixing pad. Dispense one drop of liquid for every one level scoop of powder.
4. With the aid of a quick spatulation technique, thoroughly combine 50% of the powder into the liquid.
5. Bring the remaining powder in 2 increments and spatulate thoroughly to finally gain a uniform & sticky paste.
   Mixing Time: 1 Min
   Working Time: 2 Mins
   Setting time in mouth: 4-8 Mins

CAUTION:
In case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

STORAGE:
Keep in original packaging at room temperature, away from direct light,
humid & out of the reach of children. Replace cap immediately after dispensing of the liquid to prevent evaporation and subsequent contamination.
